It is important that you be informed of what you can expect from us and otherwise. The Terms and Conditions hereunder will allow you to know exactly what your legal situation is each time you visit us and place an order with us. When surfing on our site www.hoet.eu, you accept to be legally bound by, and to respect, the Terms and Conditions hereunder.
Hoet reserves the right to change or modify its general conditions without notifying the client personally, and without the option for the latter to claim any compensation. It is for the client to regularly verify if any changes have been made.
All articles available on the Hoet site are described in good faith and as accurately as possible. The prices are valid for the day of the site consultation. All prices are mentioned in EURO and inclusive of VAT (21%).
Contract with Hoet
A valid contract is closed between yourself and Hoet when Hoet receives the confirmation of your order on the Hoet website. You will also receive an e-mail as soon as your order has been sent.
Hoet may however decide to subordinate the validity of the contract to other conditions such as, for example, order placed by minors, incomplete or incorrect orders or the non-payment of previous orders.
According to the Belgian law related to commercial practices, the seller supports the burden of the risks of damage or of loss of the products. It is necessary that you inform Hoet of non-receipt of the goods within an acceptable delay (3 weeks) after receipt of the confirmation of shipment by mail. Hoet may decide to refuse your demand if we don't receive it within this delay. You can send your mail of non-receipt to the following address: herlinde@hoet.be.
Your right to return the ordered product within 7 days following delivery
The Belgian law related to commercial practices dated July 14, 1991, authorizes the consumer to notify the seller that (s)he renounces his/her purchase within 7 open days following delivery. The goods, new and wrapped in its original packaging, have to be returned within an acceptable period after receipt of this notification (e.g. 3 working days) to the following address: Niklaas Desparsstraat 19, B-8000 Brugge. You should include a copy of the invoice and a letter mentioning the order number, the names of the article(s) to cancel, the number of articles to cancel and the account number to which we will reimburse you the total amount of the product.
Packages that do not have (sufficient) postage will be refused and returned to the person who has sent them. This will often occur with an additional tax. Thank you for respecting our procedure and thus return the undesired item with the necessary postage.
If you have changed your mind and no longer wish to buy the product, you can always return the ordered article within 7 days following delivery. We will reimburse you as soon as we receive the article back. You will support the shipping costs incurred to send the product back to us.
If the article you have received does not correspond to the article that you have ordered or if you received a damaged product, please return it using standard mail. We will reimburse your order and your shipping costs as soon as we received the product back.
The repayment is due within a maximum term of 15 days.
Hoet has the right to refuse or the right not to reimburse returned articles when the products have been damaged by the client.
Delivery of the article
The article will be delivered to the address that you will have mentioned in your order.
Hoet tries to keep all articles in stock. However, it can always happen that a certain article is temporary out of stock. In that case, we'll email you the foreseen delivery timing for that article so that you can decide to either cancel your order or proceed with it.
In accordance with our Terms and Conditions, Hoet cannot be held liable for a possible delivery delay and this can not result into a damage claim or compensation.
Payment
The prices displayed by Hoet are in EURO and taxes included. The website Hoet follows Belgian law, and the articles offered on the website are delivered from Belgium. The invoice is in EURO, subject to Belgian Taxes on Added Value (TAV) which is 21%.
We accept a prepaid money transfer (national of international) or payment by credit card.
In the confirmation of the order, the total amount is the definitive price, all taxes expressed and costs included.
The products are delivered at the price that is applicable at the moment of the order.

Applicable law and jurisdiction
The complaints and disputes will always be received with attentive willingness, presuming good faith of the person making the effort explaining his situation. In case of dispute, the client will give priority to addressing Hoet to settle amicably.
In default, only the courts of Belgium (district of Brugge) are competent.

Hoet respects the Belgian law of December 8 1992, related to the protection of privacy when handling personal data.

2. How to select an item

Step 1 takes you to the page with the offered articles and their prices. You can receive more information on the product if you click on the picture. You will then arrive at the detail page of the product. That detail page contains additional information and a technical card linked to it.
If you want to buy this article, you just need to fill in the number of items you want. The article will then be added to your basket. You still have not ordered any product and are free to continue surfing our site and add as many articles as you want. To confirm your order you click on 'Confirm your choice'
3. How to order

Once your choice is confirmed, you go to the next step – filling in your details. On this page you can tick 'Alternative delivery address' and/or 'I need an invoice' and then you can fill in the necessary details. Once you have completed these steps, click at the bottom right on 'Order/Pay' and you will get an overview of your order and the total amount, delivery costs included. You can still make changes. At the bottom right you confirm once more. You now get a page with the reference number of your order, a complete overview of your order, all the details you need for a remittance, and all the personal details that you submitted earlier. You can print this page and use it for making your payment and for tracing your order until the delivery.
4. What are the shipping costs

For all counties in Europe shipping costs are distinguished into three categories.

CANCELLATIONS
1. I would like to cancel an order and it hasn't been shipped yet

In order to cancel your order as quickly as possible, we kindly ask you to clearly mention the order number, the names of the article(s) to cancel and the number of articles to cancel.
If you have already paid the order, we also ask you to mention the account number to which we will reimburse you the total amount of the product.

2. I would like to cancel an order but it has already been shipped

We want to establish and maintain good relations with our customers. You have the right to return the ordered articles within 7 open days following receipt of the products. If you want to return an article, please follow this procedure:
Send us the article by post with the necessary postal fees, with a copy of the bill and the original wrapping/packaging of the product.
In order to refund you the amount please mention your account number.

DELIVERIES
1. What is the delivery time of an order

Hoet tries to keep all articles in stock. The goods are sent within 2 days after reception of payment. If it should happen that a certain article is out of stock, we'll email you the foreseen delivery timing for that article so that you can decide to either cancel your order or proceed with it. In accordance with our Terms and Conditions, Hoet cannot be held liable for a possible delivery delay and this can not result into a damage claim or compensation.
2. Delivery procedure

The delivery will be executed by the Post or by transport agencies.
The orders are handled from Monday to Friday, except holidays.
The departure of the package happens in Belgium on the second day following the reception of payment (by remittance), with the proviso that stock is available. The delivery happens on the address indicated by the client during his order.
A detailed invoice corresponding to the order, addressed to the client, will be joined with the order.
Hoet does not carry responsibility for the time taken by the Post or the transport agency to execute the delivery.
The exceeding of the delivery periods can not result into a damage claim or compensation.
